So, how to choose a proper power inverter for home use and for the travelling ?

  1.  How to choose a proper power inverter ? There are so many different size power inverters, also with so many different watts appliances, and we still need to power different appliances meantime. So, how to calculate the correct watts and amps, then to choose a proper Power Inverter is very necessary and important.From the point of utilization, it depends on the Watts(or amps) of what you want to run (find the power consumption by referring to the specification plate on the appliance or tool.)From the point of professional:One of the key difference between inverters is how much AC power they produce. Add up the wattage of each device you will run simultaneously, and make sure the inverter will supply sufficient AC power.

    To select an inverter  that has enough power for your application, add the watts for items you may want to run at the same time. Use  the total wattage, plus 20%, as your minimum power requirement.

    It is advisable to buy a larger model than you think you will need (at least 10% to 20% more than the largest appliance load).

    For example, you want to power a computer, with a 17″ monitor, some lights, and a video.
